"What do you do all day as an Artist"

I was asked today "What do you do all day as an Artist" so here goes nothing, this is what my Monday (June 8th) consisted of:

8:19am - woken up by my kitty BMO who I snuggled with for about 10 min until she got bored and left

8:30 - did a mountain of dishes left over from the weekend

9:00 - coffee and breakfast while I responded to about 10 emails, texts, and etsy orders from the weekend

10:00 - painted while listening to sonic 102.9. I am currently painting a custom Tin Tin and a Doc Holiday

1:00pm - Had a snack and got dressed for the day

2:00 - went to duchess to find out its closed on Mondays then headed to The Paint Spot to confirm my Art Walk registration

3:00 - Signed Fringe Festival contracts

3:30 - Had a meeting for a new custom piece at Starbucks where we went over sizes and imagery for a family portrait

4:30 - Got home and started the rice cooker and wrote out this post

Next is based on my tentative plans for the evening:

5:30 - Monday night tradition of watching the newest episode of Game of Thrones and making Sushi (only 1 more week left of this tradition which makes me sad!)

6:30 - prep comic book pages onto canvas for upcoming pieces: Han Solo, Leia, Chewy, Yoda, Spider-Man, Venom and a Hobbit piece with Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Mary

9:00 - Head to the west end where I have my printer and canvas stretching materials to fill orders and print new things for this coming weekend

11:00 - back home for some popcorn and then I usually paint until about 1am before crashing to wake up and do it all again.
