Original Painting of The Journey from Platform 9 3/4
This is a hand-painted original painting. Each one is made to order and painted by me just for you.
This painting comes in three options:
12" x 16" with a 1" thickness
16" x 20" with a 1-3/4" thickness
18" x 24" with a 1-3/4" thickness
DETAILS
This piece is created with 3D laser cut layers that are hand-drawn, cut and then painted.
The background can either be a sky or book pages that I physically adhere to the canvas before painting on top. Having the books in the background adds a unique texture and contrast to the painting. You can leave a note if you'd like book pages from a specific book or chapter.
The frame is painted with a black stain and sealed for an everlasting finish.
I then paint each layer of laser cut wood by hand- making each and every piece unique and one-of-a-kind!
Please allow up to 4 weeks for me to make this. If you have a tighter timeline please message me and I will try to accommodate certain dates.
MATERIALS
Laser-cut wood birch, Acrylic Paint, and bookpages inset in a painted birch frame.
SHIPPING:
We ship each painting surrounded by bubble wrap, cardboard and wrapped in a thick poly bag making sure it reaches you in perfect condition.
All our shipping is done through Canada Post and includes tracking and insurance. Expedited Shipping in Canada takes 1-7 business days and into the United States 4-7 business days. For more information on internationally delivery times don’t hesitate to message me.
ABOUT MY WORK:
My work is created due to an uncontrollable passion for the pop culture industry and exploring our relationship with characters and worlds that are created. Growing up my parents owned a movie rental store and I was raised on films.
